We provide networking opportunities
Make profitable connections at our wide vareity of networking events and programs where you will meet potential customers, community leaders and business peers.
Monthly Business Mixers, every 4th Wednesday from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m., are an after-hours networking event designed for members to meet and build relationships with business people from small, mid-size and large Palo Alto and surrounding area companies and organizations representing a variety of industries. P.A.C.E. Networking Breakfasts are held the 1st Friday six months a year. A twenty-minute educational "infomercial" is presented featuring topics such as best practices for business and marketing ideas such as leadership strategies, investment strategies, and personal effectiveness. We promote our members
Wouldn't it be great to have an unlimited budget where you could reach thousands of business people, area residents and community visitors? Of course, you don't have an unlimited budget - no business does. So, it's important to make the best choices for your organization when choosing your marketing partners. Chamber marketing options are targetted, credible and affordable.
Every membership includes listing with company contact information in our searchable online business directory accessed by thousands of potential customers per month, listing in the annually-produced Palo Alto Guide magazine alphabetically and categorically, referrals exclusive to Chamber members to the hundreds of prospective visitors and future residents to the Palo Alto area who call or visit Chamber offices every year, brochure display in the Palo Alto Chamber offices, the opportunity to participate in the Member to Member Discount program, and a Chamber logo cling for your front window to display your status as a member with us. All of this is included with membership, join now if you are not already a member.
In addition to the benefits you recieve as part of membership with us, you can also participate in other paid opportunities to gain exposure:
- Get an enhanced web listing, including your logo and primary placement on your category, for an additional $50 per year.
- Advertising is available in our Palo Alto Guide magazine, next published in August 2007. Rates will vary, please contact staff for details.
- The Chamber Eblast, our twice-monthly Chamber e-newsletter that is sent to over 2,000 email addresses, can announce your business or organization news for only $50 per month (2 eBlasts) for 50 words and a small graphic or logo.
- Banner advertising on this website is available at varied rates, please contact staff for details.
- Specail discounted prices on mailing labels to businesses in the Palo Alto Chamber.
- Event sponsorship is available for most major events. For even more recognition, your organization can sponsor all chamber events as part of the Leader's Circle.
We help you build your business
Your Chamber membership gives you instant access to a vareity of business resources from personal conselling through SCORE, to educational seminars and information to make quality business decisions. We can help new, existing or expanding businesses connect with the resources to increase productivity, and understand the ever-changing issues that impact your business.
Chamber events like Ribbon Cuttings and Grand Openings help build exposure and show your committment to the community through association with the Chamber.
We are an advocate for our members
The Chamber tracks local and regional issues that affect members and takes action through the Government Action Council. Issues currently under study include citywide economic development, regional transportation concerns and downtown parking, among others. Members are kept abreast of and alerted to issues affecting their businesses through our bi-monthly eBlast.
We refer visitors and residents to our members
The Chamber receives thousands of requests each year for referrals on goods or services available in the Palo Alto area. Business people, newcomers, visitors and area residents are referred to Chamber members through our Membership Roster and other guides, whose listings include only Chamber members.
