Redwood Symphony will open its 32nd season with the opera that Hitler hated, The Rise and Fall of the City of Mahagonny, the jazz-infused critique of modern capitalism, at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 24, in the Main Theater of Cañada College, 4200 Farm Hill Blvd. at I-280, Redwood City. Because of the opera’s mature theme and some sexual content, parents should use discretion for children under 12. Also be sure to note the early start time of 7:30 p.m. Kujawsky’s pre-concert lecture will begin at 6:30 p.m.
