Mom and Baby Yoga
New moms can benefit from an energetic rejuvenation during their busy week. Ananda strives to create a safe and loving environment in which new mothers can strengthen their bodies, minds and spirits. This mixed level practice will help women regain core and pelvic floor muscles so that their bodies are prepared for the workout that is motherhood. Heart openers and stretches are included to elevate mental states and to relieve the aches and pains associated with activities such as diaper changing and lifting heavy car seats. Mothers will enjoy strengthening the bond with their babies by practicing together in a nurturing and safe space. This class is appropriate for all levels, encouraging each mom to practice “where she is” on the particular day. Ananda hopes her students will take with them a great sense of peace and joy when leaving her class.
