Self-acceptance and love has a ripple effect! Amidst the busyness of small children, Robyn sets a tone for a mindful, breath-centered practice. Moms have the opportunity to practice mindful movement every moment of class, starting with awareness: whether it’s downward dog, changing a diaper, nursing, or meeting her child at eye level, Robyn supports moms to notice each opportunity to move more dynamically and healthfully to protect and strengthen their bodies. Even if the physical practice of yoga is not accessible due to the demands of the children, the mental practice is always accessible. Moms will leave feeling more grounded and empowered to meet the demands of parenting. Music is used to set a light-hearted tone, and singing numerous songs each class engages the children. This gentle practice is safe and appropriate for all levels.
