With news of neo-Nazi marches on the national stage, Holocaust survivor Ben Stern brings us "Near Normal Man," an award-winning and poignant documentary about his life and the resilience of the human spirit. Stern emerged from the Holocaust only to face Nazis again 30 years later in Skokie, Illinois, where he led a fiercely public counter-protest. The film will be followed by a conversation and Q&A with Ben and Charlene Stern (Ben’s daughter) about how to prevail over hate—not with more violence, but with wisdom, courage, kindness and reason.
