Join us Tuesday, October 22nd at 7pm in the Galway Room as we kick off our speaker series with author Scott Evans! Scott Evans is an author, inventor, public speaker and the real-life kid that went over the fence to retrieve a baseball – the event that inspired The Sandlot, a 1993 American coming of age sports comedy film written, directed and narrated by his brother David Mickey Evans and the real-life “Bobby” (the younger brother that flew away in the little red wagon) from Radio Flyer, the 1992 drama-fantasy film that started it all. We’ll be holding a public talk session with Scott Evans followed by a meet and greet and book signing. Oak + Violet will be offering a limited menu of wine and small bites for the event. Get your tickets today!
